Two papers. One weekend apart.
Paper 1 is Friday 23 October. Paper 2 is Monday 26 October. There is no week in between to catch up. So we drill both, in parallel, for five weeks — and the final session lands in the gap between them.

The schedule
Ten sessions, built around the exam timetable
Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Past DBE papers, drilled and marked. Not new teaching.
Topic order may shift. Week one is a diagnostic drill, and the tutor adjusts to what it finds.
Coverage
Both papers, from week one
Nothing is saved for later, because there is no later.
Paper 1
Friday 23 October
- Algebra and equations
- Functions and graphs
- Differential calculus
- Sequences and series
- Finance, growth and decay
- Probability
Paper 2
Monday 26 October
- Euclidean geometry
- Analytical geometry
- Trigonometry
- Statistics and regression
Homework every session. Learners photograph their working, submit to the group, and it comes back marked. That loop is the part that moves marks.
About
Small on purpose
Zeroto7 is an online maths tutor for Grades 10, 11 and 12, based in Cape Town and working with learners across South Africa. NSC and CAPS aligned, covering algebra, functions, calculus, trigonometry, Euclidean and analytical geometry, finance, probability and statistics.
The name is the method. 0→7 is the NSC achievement scale, Level 1 through Level 7, and every 7 started somewhere lower down. So the first thing we do is find out where — not where the syllabus says a learner should be, but where their maths actually stopped. Then we teach forward from there.
One group of ten this season. Not a franchise, not a call centre, and not a platform that pairs you with whoever is online. A small team of vetted tutors, and the same one with your group throughout. Your tutor learns your child's name and which topic is costing them marks.

We find the actual gap before you book anything
A learner failing Grade 12 calculus is often failing Grade 10 algebra with extra steps on top. So we work backwards to the year the maths stopped, and start there.

Who this course is and is not for
Book it if
- Your child is writing NSC Grade 12 Maths this October
- They know the work but lose marks under pressure
- They will actually do homework if someone marks it
- Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings are free
Do not book it if
- Your child needs Grade 10 and 11 foundations retaught — that is one-on-one work, and we will tell you so
- They are writing Maths Literacy, or sitting IEB rather than NSC
- They will not attend, or will not submit homework
- You are looking for a guaranteed mark
For parents
How we work with your child online
Your child is a minor in an online room with an adult. Here are our rules.
Every session is recorded
It protects the learner and the tutor equally.
You can join, any time
Unannounced, without asking first.
No private messaging
All communication runs through the group or with a parent copied.
No one-on-one breakout rooms
Learners are never taken into a private room alone.
Every tutor is vetted
Checked and verified before they teach a single learner. Ask us what we hold on file and we will tell you.
Questions
The things parents ask first
Will this get my child a 7?
No one can honestly promise a mark, and anyone who does is selling you something they cannot deliver. We commit to twenty hours of past-paper work, both papers in parallel, homework marked every week, and a group small enough that nobody hides.
Prelims went badly. Is it too late?
That is who this is built for. Prelim results are the most useful diagnostic you will get — they show exactly which topics are costing marks. Bring the paper to the Gap Assessment.
Is this new teaching or revision?
Revision, deliberately. If your child needs the Grade 11 foundation retaught, that is one-on-one work, and the Gap Assessment will tell us which you need.
Who teaches it?
An experienced Zeroto7 maths tutor, vetted before teaching and matched to the group, and the same one for all ten sessions. Nobody gets handed between tutors halfway through.
What if my child misses a session?
Every session is recorded, so they can catch up. But the homework cycle is what works, and with ten seats we would rather hold the place for someone who will show up.

Start with the free Gap Assessment
One session. Student and parent. No charge.
Message us and we will find a time this week. Bring the prelim paper if there is one. If the intensive is the wrong fit, we will say so.
